Welton Academy 2016 Report

My personal word for this year was "International Influence."

I began the year with the first fast I had done in about seven years! (27 days of January) This led to some major revelations and insights for the future of Welton Academy. In obedience to this direction, we announced a major change on Leap Day (Feb 29). Rather than creating a degree program, we were called to create a training track for building Five-Fold leaders. This also required building a team of five leaders to help create this.

Here’s the team:
Pastor Ralph VanAuken, Teacher Eric Gregson, Evangelist Tommy Green, Prophet Ivan Roman, and myself, Apostle Jonathan Welton.

Also in February, I traveled to Sacramento and filmed 9 classes in three days where I taught on every book of the New Testament. And I traveled to Thailand to do a supernatural training for missionaries.

In March, I officially joined the board of the River Fellowship of ministries. I also traveled to Chicago to film four guest speakers for the school.

In April, I helped transition my best friends into being the new senior leaders of our local church. As well as led a team of 14 to Argentina and recorded 20 classes in Spanish, along with having the honor of meeting the world-famous evangelist, Carlos Annacondia.

In May, we hosted a Welton Academy Apostolic Summit in Sacramento, as well as in New Zealand. We also forged a partnership with Impact Nations and Vision International University.

The summer was incredibly busy. I filmed six classes on the Five-Fold ministry for school at my local church. I finished rough manuscripts for The Art of Revelation, New Covenant Revolution, and Equipping the Equippers (release dates to be determined).

We hosted our second European Welton Academy Apostolic Summit in Ede, Netherlands. I taught in the Black Forest of Germany,
and I did an end-times conference in Hanau, Germany.

In the fall, I did a TV interview on the Miracle Channel in Alberta, and we hosted our third annual Apostolic Summit in Rochester, NY. We also included in our Rochester Summit our first New Covenant Leaders gathering for a limited number of leaders to come and connect hearts.

Karen and I traveled for our fifth time to Shawn Bolz’ Love Coalition Gathering in LA. There were about sixty other young influential leaders from around the world there.

Throughout this schedule, I traveled and spoke at many other conferences in Charlotte, Louisville, Traverse City, Las Vegas, Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, and Ithaca.

In total:

  • 108 days on the road

  • 100s of hours on audio/video calls

  • 1000s of texts and emails

  • 45 Blogs written

  • 20-25 Video teaching clips for social media
  • 10 book endorsements written

  • Read 20 books on the Five-Fold Ministry

At the core of all this, Karen and I celebrated 12 years of marriage, Hannah is 3.5 years old now, and Juliet is 1. Our girls are incredibly sweet and bright.

The question I get asked by a lot of other leaders is, “how do you do all this?” I have three answers:

  1. It takes the support of my incredible team. We currently have 9 core staff members and many auxiliary staff who all do specific tasks.

  2. The grace that God has put on my life enables me to carry this load and accomplish these things.
  3. By the love, prayers, and financial support of the saints (you!).

Thank you for supporting the work of Welton Academy, we are seeing incredible fruit all over the world.
